What is Counselling

Counselling is primarily a talk therapy whereby You use the time to think and chat about Your situation. No direct advice is given, instead the counsellor will help You make Your own decisions to find the right solution.

How I Work With You

During our Counselling sessions together I will work with You at every step.

Should You wish to do so, we can enhance your Counselling sessions by using NLP tools that will help you replace feelings of low self-esteem/self-belief and replace those with positive thoughts to achieve positive results.

I mainly deal with issues of depression, anxiety, and stress. However I also have experience of working with people who have issues relating to HIV/Aids through my previous volunteer work with Terrence Higgins Trust.

HOW IT WORKS

I offer Counselling on a one-to-one basis once a month in Islington at the The Healthy Living Centre. Depending on your needs, following our free 20-minute initial telephone consultation, we would agree a number of sessions. Generally one-to-one Counselling consists of 4 to 6 sessions. If after the initial agreed period you wish to have additional Counselling this can be discussed and agreed.

Telephone Counselling is also available and includes 4 one-hour phone calls, plus 20 emails / text messages for "general checking in/advice" between sessions.
