What is Healing

Recognised in many cultures and traditions, Healing is seen as a complimentary therapy which enhances health on every level of being by helping to restore balance in mind, body and spirit and promotes self-healing, and brings a sense of well-being and peace to the recipient.

Healing assists many areas; Physical Complaints such as back pain, exhaustion and arthritis; Emotional Conditions including depression, anxiety, stress and loss (feeling displaced) and if you are trying to give up smoking.

Although Healing has its benefits with medical conditions, you do not need to be ill to receive healing, as it also promotes general wellbeing and clarity and aids focus and/or meditation.

Advice

If you are on medication, it is always advised to remain on the medication and to speak with your doctor about any healing that you are undertaking.

WHERE DOES HEALING COME FROM?

Healing energy is described in many ways including "Universal" and/or "Divine" energy as well as a "perfect form of Love and Wisdom". In this way, Healing can also bring peace to those who are terminally ill or during/after bereavement.

HOW IT WORKS

All Healers believe that the energy helps all, irrespective of faith or religion. The Healer asks nothing of the recipient only that they have an openness to the possibility of changes that may occur from within the process.

The Healer channels natural energy through the recipient by way of making a silent, deep connection with a process which can have enhancing results, and promotes the "stilling of oneself" and clarity.

HEALING SESSIONS

Healings will be by pre-booked appointment and will take place at the The Healthy Living Centre. If you wish, upon booking and/or initial phone call, we could agree the number of sessions you would like to undertake.

One-to-One Healing: is done with you seated in a chair. It is non-evasive in that it is mostly non-touch. There is also the option of a guided relaxation, whereby I will talk you through a guided meditation to help you relax prior to the process.

Each 1-2-1 session would last approximately 45 minutes to one hour, including consultation.
